Germany is the default EU VPS location for many buyers: Hetzner Falkenstein/Nuremberg, plus other EU brands with a DE node. Hetzner CX23 (2/4/40 NVMe, €5.99/mo cap, 20 TB) is the plan most “cheap EU VPS” articles mean in 2026.

Contabo is also German; Cloud VPS 4 is RAM-heavy (8 GB from €5.50 on 24 months) with a 200 Mbps cap. Scaleway is Paris/Amsterdam/Warsaw rather than DE, but sits in the same EU latency band — compare if you need French data residency.

US-only shops (some Namecheap SKUs) do not belong on this page. If your users are in the US, use VPS in the USA.
